1945, le Japon voit pointer la defaite. Une unite specialisee dans les experimentations chimiques et bacteriologiques est chargee par l'empereur de mettre au point de nouvelles armes capables d'inverser le cours de la guerre. Le camp 731, vivier de cobayes humains, est des lors mis a contribution.
